Eileen MacNeil

Pic & Twill Weaving Studio

Eileen Mac Neil has had a passion for weaving since she saw her first loom and took her first weaving class at The Scotsville School of Craft where she now teaches weaving. She set up a studio in her home on the north west coast of Cape Breton Island in 1992. Eileen enjoys freedom in her weaving and lets her mood, the season or an exciting image lead her from piece to piece. She has a commitment to excellence in design and craftsmanship and likes making pieces that are as functional as they are beautiful. Her studio is a working studio but people are welcome to visit by appointment. Eileen sells her handwovens in local gift shops and galleries.
