Spinning is a traditional craft passed down through generations. While it may look simple, spinning requires coordination of your hands, eyes, and feet. With practice, you’ll soon be creating your own beautiful yarn.
In this hands-on course, you’ll take wool in its natural state and learn the process of transforming it into yarn that can be used for a variety of crafts.

Meet Your Instructor: Judy Lincoln
A dedicated member of the Scotsville School of Crafts since 1984, Judy brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for spinning. Her journey began with raising Angora goats for their mohair fleece. Today, she delights in spinning, dyeing, knitting, and weaving with natural fibers, often sourcing dyes from the beauty around her home—trees, flowers, and coastal flora.
