About the Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, Annette will delve into the rich history of Cheticamp Hooked Rugs.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose from unique 6” kits. Each kit includes:

• A wooden hoop
• A pre-drawn design on burlap
• A hook
• All the wool needed to complete your project

You’ll also get to experience rug hooking on traditional Cheticamp frames, learning the techniques used at a stationary workstation. Annette will provide detailed information on backing materials, wool types, and how to care for your finished piece.

Meet the Teacher
Join Annette, a third-generation rug hooker, as she shares her passion for the traditional Cheticamp style of rug hooking. Taught by her mother, Annette has been practicing this beautiful craft for over 25 years. She designs her own patterns, dyes some of her wool, and continues to enjoy the peaceful art of rug hooking in her home.
