Learning to Spin

Spinning wool into yarn is a craft that has been handed down from generation to generation . It looks easy yet requires co-ordination of hand, eyes and feet.
This course takes wool in its natural state and eventually turns it into yarn that can be used for a variety of crafts.

The class will be taught over a series of Saturdays – May 9, 16, 23, 30 – from 10am – 12pm.

Meet Your Instructor:

A dedicated member of the Scotsville School of Crafts since 1984, Judy brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for spinning. Her journey began with raising Angora goats for their mohair fleece. Today, she delights in spinning, dyeing, knitting, and weaving with natural fibers, often sourcing dyes from the beauty around her home—trees, flowers, and coastal flora.
